Monhegan Island, US

The coast of Maine, with its beautiful little islands and lighthouses is a great place for hiking, enjoying the sun and being able to have some Scandinavia in the US. Monhegan island is particularly beautiful and can be reached by ferry from Port Clyde. The island is car-free and has a population of about 60 people. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the nature.
