Scharnik, AT

This photo was taken on my up to Scharnik, a mountain peak in the Austrian state of Carinthia near the Italian border. The photo is taken with a southwards view looking over into Italy and a fantastic view of the Lienzer Dolomites. The ridge is slightly exposed and during winter a bit icy and should therefore be taken with caution. I turned around half way, simply because of only having trail running shoes and the danger of slipping and falling.
